1840 Music Group is a Nashville music company that operates three separate divisions: Glen Rock Records, Knuckle Drag Music Publishing, and Foust Town Productions. Glen Rock Records is the record label arm of 1840 Music Group, managing and promoting master recordings for artists who require a boutique experience. Knuckle Drag Music Publishing managers songwriters and their catalogues for a high-touch, white glove, experience for all of our writers. Foust Town Productions is a small recording studio and production house offering songwriter demos, mixing/mastering, and music for film and television.

This Nashville music company was formalized in January of 2023, but has been operating in the music industry since 1999, with the entrepreneurial promotions and music-marketing firm, Blacklist Productions. Blacklist Productions was started by Christopher Foust, with a DIY attitude and goal of making independent music economically viable, while providing unique fan experiences through promotions and digital marketing. After exiting Blacklist Productions and later on Blacklist Agency Group, Christopher Foust began a touring career in rock and country. These experiences, along with a successful corporate marketing career, has allowed Christopher to launch 1840 Music Group and provide a select group of artists record label services, music publishing, and audio production services.
